Our Holidays bring us joy and are fun with festivities and gift-giving. Sometimes, it is easy to get overscheduled during this busy time.

Here are a couple of tips to consider:
- Think about your priority this year. What goals do you have in mind as you plan celebrations?
- Plan to include your traditions and perhaps limit your celebrations to keep it simple and joyous.
- Organize and declutter where you can in your home. One way I organize is to purchase a container such as a cloth bin for my children’s new toys or category of toys. For example, all of the dinosaurs have their own special bin.
And finally, one thing I do each year is purchase something new to go along with my Holiday Decorating Theme. I put aside what I don’t put out and donate to a family member or Christmas Drive at my church.
One idea that really worked for me last year is adding an ornament that I am no longer using to the ribbon on top of each gift. It brings a smile and joy to others to receive a “new to them” gift.
