Remember to keep a few things in mind when choosing paint colors: the “right” color won’t save your room if don’t have sufficient lighting- natural or artificial. Layered light is always the most inviting- meaning a combination of lamps, overhead lighting, and accent lighting.
Paint a minimum 8 x 11″ piece of white stock paper with a few color options and hang them up on different walls, in different times of day. You may really love the color in direct morning light, but find it dull by evening.
