Pantone Unveils Hot Home Fashion for Fall
Written By Hooker Furniture
Autumn has arrived in central Ohio; what about in your neighborhood? Here in Ohio, evening temperatures are dipping into the 50s, and college football is in full gear. Pumpkin spice lattés have even arrived in our favorite coffee house.
The arrival of a new season is accompanied by new wardrobe possibilities. Soon, we’ll be pulling out sweaters and boots to attend evening functions. New colors appear everywhere you look ~ nature, fashion, even beauty products. Why not take this opportunity to add some fall flair to your home décor and furniture?
Each year, the color experts at Pantone forecast the hot colors for the coming season. And then like magic, those colors begin to appear everywhere ~ clothing, accessories, especially home décor and furniture.
Here’s a look at Pantone’s Fall Fashion Colors Forecast, and some ideas for adding a pop of this season’s must-have colors to your favorite space:
1. French Roast … it sounds so inviting. There’s nothing quite like a strong cup of coffee to accompany the beginning of the day. It wakes up my mind, restores my senses {sometimes quite literally}, and adds a touch of warmth to my day. Imagine enjoying that cup of coffee in the Kirby Chair by Bradington-Young. Covered in a rich, worn leather, Kirby can bring a sense of warmth and comfort to any corner of you room.
2. When combining the ethereal, grayed-down purple of Rhapsody with the quintessential cool gray of Titanium, you achieve comfort and serenity with quiet, muted tones. These colors come together beautifully in Hooker Furniture’s Ludlow Bedroom to create a quiet retreat from the outside world.
3. Honey Gold … Floor mirrors are a weakness of mine. With just one touch, you can add light, sparkle and style to a room. And Hooker Furniture’s Vera Floor Mirror could be the perfect addition to your room. An antique gold-leaf finish, and tons of hidden storage space ~ it’s a girl’s dream come true.
4. Add a vibrant pop of Pink Flambé with the Annabelle Chair from Sam Moore. Not sure you want to commit to a pink chair? You can opt for vibrant accents, like this table lamp paired with the beautiful Alexandra Console.
5. And let’s not forget the athletic event of the year … a beautiful burst of Olympian Blue can enliven a neutral bedroom. It adds a bold statement, without disrupting the peacefulness of the Harbour Pointe Bedroom.
